Dr. Maryam Saatian
Dr. Maryam Saatian completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) at the Shahid Behesti University of Medical Science in 1990. After one year of working as a dentist, she was accepted
into the Prosthodontics Graduate Program in Shahid Beheshti University.
In 1993 she started working as an associate professor while maintaining a
part-time private practice for over 14 years before moving to Canada.
In 2003 Dr Saatian started a one year fellowship program in Implant
Dentistry in University of Toronto and two years later she started the
dental degree evaluation program at University of Toronto. In 2008 she
started working as a general dentist in the GTA and opened her first
dental clinic in North York.
Dr. Saatian is married and has two daughters. Her younger daughter is studying Dentistry in University of Toronto.
Dr. Lawrie Silverberg
Dr. Lawrie Silverberg received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 1967 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1971. He has been practicing in Brampton since then. After over 45 years he still enjoys dentistry and takes great pleasure in having treated many of his patients for 40+ years. He has taken many continuing education courses in Canada and the United States.
He has been married since 1991, has three wonderful children and six grandchildren. His hobbies include photography, woodworking and playing the bagpipes and the banjo!
Dr. Gurpreet Chattha
Dr. Gurpreet Chattha grew up in Brampton and attended the University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate education, where he completed an Honours degree in the Bachelors of Health Sciences program. He continued his education at Western, where he attended the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry to complete his dental education. At Schulich Dentistry he graduated with distinction, while obtaining multiple awards in periodontics and was on the Dean’s Honours List all four years. Since graduating he continues to remain active in dental education, and takes numerous courses with a particular focus towards surgical and endodontic procedures.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chattha is an avid sports fan and follows the Leafs and Raptors very closely. When he’s not working he loves to hike and camp.
